Really? Darn....I just bought myself some concentrated blackwater to 'darken' the water and lower the pH. Anyhow, I will just give it a shot and see how it goes. I hope mine will grow to 24" soon. More to grow as it is now (12").

no no dont get me wrong.. blackwater will make your fish glow.. i personally think cattappa leaves are better. blackwater works because it softens up your water, lowers ph and is loaded with vitamins. peat works too
