nice. if i didnt know any better id say there monos. (there head ainte as box shaped as orions but then agian there tail is kinda blue.) only time will tell. nice fish agian.
 
What kind of camera were you using? Im itching to buy a fairly nice one. I had a 20D at one time but sold it, wish I hadnt now cuz with this cichla habit I cant afford another one!

I agree, the black in the tail is a pretty good give away. My Orinos have no black in their tails. These guys look almost exactly like the wild Mono I got from Rapps today. Beautiful either way!
 
I think NEcichlids mixed their cichla up. At the time I bought mine (which I think was about the same time those were bought) he was selling peacock bass (monos?) and orinocensis. Of the two I kept I got one orino. I will post updated pics soon so you all can see.
 
that yawn pic is stunning i got a few of the NE orinos but wasnt there some controversy over if they were actually orinos and not ocell?
