And yes mine does exactly look like that

It looks like you have a good space for a pond. Also, if your bass are identical to mine than they are probably monos. They in my opinion are the prettiest of the pb species so your lucky. Another thing with the pond would be heating or cooling. Depending on the climate and weather of your location of the pond you will need to keep the water the right temperature. I am also thinking of building a pond for my bass but it's gets very cold where I am going to have it so I need to spend a lot of money on the heater. Also, I have to worry about animals getting into it as well so I need a net over it. Although, if your bass was wild caught then it could adjust to the colder water easier since it used to live in the wild. If it was captive bread then it would have a hard time without a heater. If you don't know if it's captive bread or wild caught you could just call the place you got it from and just ask. If they know what they are talking about they should know.

its captive bred. temperature wise, maybe its not an issue i guess. I'm from the Philippines mostly hot in here. and yes I am aware about the net, so many chickens that we don't own migrate here.

Are the pbs you have now juvenile? If they are, most juveniles have the speckled white dots on their fins. I am currently raising a juvenile mono in my 75 growout tank. He is about 4 inches give or take and has the same speckled dots on his fins. Here are a few pictures... if this one doesn't look like yours I would check the juvenile peacock bass ID thread. It's always good to know what type of pb you have for growth purposes and many other reasons.

Just to make sure. Itd a mono right?20181119_165355.jpg 20181119_164934.jpg
