I have (2) 2 inch pbass that i'm converting off of live food. They havent eaten in about a week or so since they last have guppies. I've tried breaking up hikari gold sinking pellets, massivore, frozen shrimp, freeze dried krill, and floating hikari pellets with no success.

Whats next??? And should I put some feeders in there if they wont eat anything else?

as young pbass they need to eat consistantly...give it some time as they get bigger (4-5") then try to introduce other foods, but as of now they are better off being fed. mine are now 4.5" eating watever hits the water, and thats with out starving...

its not a good idea to starve 2 inch cichla at all! you should wait till they are about 4-5 inch if your going to starve them

they are too prone to deseases at that size, they need to eat. Be patient, my mono's would not take frozen krill until they hit 8-9 " all pbass are different, but at two inches, they need to eat those guppies as often as possible.

i woudnt starve them for that long.
at most 2-3 days.
best food ive ever tried was market shrimp.
and the best method ive used is "teacher fish".

teacher fish work great as well.. i had luck using oscars.. even though i am not a big fan of them... when it comes down to food cichla are very competitive and so are oscars.. it works out
