Pbass tank size?! And pbass question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It's just too many pairs in a 4X8 footprint. It doesn't matter how many little cave hiding spots you have. Jags get 16" plus. That means that spawning pair is going to take up a minimum of 1/4 of the footprint (that's a very small 2'X2' footprint to guard for a pair of fish that are 16" and 14") if they're forced to by other pairs in the tank.

Same thing for a few others in that tank.

Bottom line, the list has too many pairs. You'll either have to go with less pairs, or you could do pairs with the less agressive fish (JD's, Convicts, etc...), and just do single males for the more agressive fish (Jag, Midas/RD, etc...). And it'll be trial and error. Make sure you have a quarantine tank set up so you can move a fish once it gets shredded (it'll happen).

i knew many people army fans if this fishkeeping style.,but if you cram that many fish in a tank aggression is,almost never an issue due to a lack of territories. sure you see cheap shots here and there. quest cases is they pick on a fish real bad overnight and due to such heavy stock they will kill him quick.

all and all you have to eather lightly stock or super heavy. in between takes alot of care and balancing.

Almost as much arguing as when my class plays sports(I am one of the few who doesn't fight)... Everybody stop arguing and let him learn the hard way. Maybe then he will learn...
