Im getting my first Bass after an hour, hour and a half. They are supposed too be Cichla Ocellaris, if they are, they are the first and only ones in the whole country.:D

Ill try too update once a week w/pics:grinno:
I ordered:
2x Cichla Ocellaris
13x Glowlight tetras as food.
Also in the tank.
Few guppys
Few Swordtails
Banjo cat hiding in the sand
Also have a 15g tank full of swordtail fry as food also;)

They are 2", in a 100g tank, how many feeders should they eat per day if i just drop them all in there?
Or should i just give them x many feeders per day and keep all the feeders in another tank?

Sounds good dude.. after a while all youll have in that tank is cichla lol.

I put a heater in the tank few hours ago, did 40% waterchange and put in a much powerful filter..
Its still 80-82 FH but after the night it should be around 88-90 FH.

Could he be with a Paratilapia Polleni and a Green Texas if he is bigger than they and still not so big that he can eat them. Or are the too aggro texas and Polleni?
there is a good chance he would be fine but i wouldent risk it, not with a fish this special. congrats on your first cichla

Update 1.

He just ate his 1st. Guppy. Has unly been in the country for 3 days and is still really stressed and getting used too the Icelandic water.

keep the temp at 30 degrees celcius.
feed him good quality feeders 3 times a day until his belly is just full enough.
meaning he doesnt look like a balloon.
raise him on feeders until 8 inches unless he takes dead food without any trouble before that.
DO NOT starve him.
i'd keep him alone or with some livebearers around his size.
NO CICHLIDS (i know...pbass are cichlids, but not to me) with him.
ive found that livebearers help make him more comfortable.
since he has no other cichla friends.

Update 2
I put in feeders, only thing is that some are as big as him, but they made him not stressed at all. Tempature is 32degrees/90farenheit, i just DONT want to let him die, he has eaten only 1 guppy in my tank, but tomorrow im going to my lfs and trade the big guppys for smaller ones.
He is gettin kind of thin and i will start too worry if he wont take the small guppys ill bring tomorrow.
But the only proplem is that feeders are so focki*g expensive 5$ each. Im in fu*king Iceland.

when hes fat,try to dump some market shrimp in and see if he eats any.
if he does, very good for your pocket.
