dont see any tems....monos or occels probably....if u dont have the temp @ 86-87 bump it up now....young cichla are easily prone to ich at cooler temps.
 
its at 84 now and they seem fine been in there a week now, guess its a guessing game till they get bigger now HUH!!!.... any good advice for theses guys as of now they r eaten blackworm and feeders and seem to b doin just fine
 
Stop feeding them feeders if there eating black worm.

Well it's definitely not a guessing game as they are not tems. W/o a doubt monoculus or ocellaris.

Ya know, this is said a lot on here and its probably the case when you're feeding live because you never know what you're feeders might have. But in my experience, it killed my fish. I started with 6, cranked my temps up to 86, and had a ton of air stones in the water. One by one the fish died. The only reason I could come up with was the fact that there's more bacteria growth in warm water. When I was down to one, I gave up. I took him out of the tank and tossed him into a small sa cichlid tank where the water was 78. He's now spangled like crazy and around 5 inches.

I have now purchased two more orinos which were rather small when they came. I ended up tossing them in with my guppy breeders. The water is around 78. And they seem absolutely fine.

I'm not saying I'm right, just sharing my experience.
 
thanks dude i got these guy got for 3 dollars each so i really dont care ..that said i would like to keep em and they r eating black worm with about 10 feeders in there they dont seem to eat the feeders which is cool .....bu they sure do go thru the black worm....ok when these got get alil bigger and i have to dump loads of blk worm in what can i get them eating im tryin to put krill in the blk worm juice so maube getthem in to the krill ......i really havent jacked the temp up to much a degree or two i used to have my dovii in that tank i took him out and put them in hahah well more pix will come later
 
I would start mixing little pieces of pellets in with the blackworms too, they might not go for it at first, but in time they should.
 
Yeap.....IME mono's, ocell's, tem's and orinos are the easier ones to convert to non live foods.
 
congrats on the nice P bass can't wait till we find out what species they are I am def. going to have to get me some of those :D
