ok i kinda want to upgrade my 12 gallon nano cube ligts to t5s. but i just figured out i could only fit 4 6 watt bulbs in the hood. i wanted 6 but it just wont fit. i have the stock 2 whatever watt PCs right now and was wondering if it would make any diff?
need to know before i start taking everythin apart.
really wish i could get 6 so i could grow some acros and maybe a tiny clam.

anyone....?
i really hate when this happens....

it hasn't been long since your first post... relax.

I have 4 t5 lights and i can grow damn near anything. softies sps lps etc. I think four would be sufficent. Or have you ooked in an LED conversion? You can fit a ton of those because space requirements are alot less

ha im relaxed but it happens every time. i post and a bunch of people look but no one replies then i say somethin about it and magically people start helping. oh well
i think i am goin to go led. maybe 2 panorama strips. i want to do all sps and clams. seems like a really good challenge.

yu should be good with that. I like everything about LED except the price lol

lol im with you there. they seem strange tho. and they dont penetrate well i dont think

Most of the high end setup I see use led. My LFS does as well on several tanks

I would just go with an LED DIY...its begging to be done on all these nano tanks.

If you want to upgrade light, but cant add heat to the system, its the perfect match.

:iagree:

if its a JBJ nano cube just buy the conversion kit to LED, not that exspensive and you've have better results with varying corals.
