W'sup guys, what mid-top level swimmers do you guys know of?

My tiger barbs and silver dollars both utilize that section a lot.

I'm looking for your choices of mid-top level swimmers that are peaceful

Predatory fish cant be a choice :D(ex. arowanas, odoe pikes, any fish that can take out another's eyeball)

Congo Tetras are great. I just got a group of Pearl Gouramis...we'll see how they do;)

Rainbowfish are really underrated dithers. Boseman's rainbows (Melanotaenia Boesmani) are terribly expensive, even at two inches, but Australian rainbows (Melanotaenia Fluviatilis) and Neon Rainbows (Melanotaenia Praecox) can be had at as low a price as USD $2.99. They are prized as dithers for African cichlids, but I have had Australian rainbows thrive in a ph of 6 with little dissolved solids, showing full color.

giant danios stay in the top third of the water almost exclusively.

u said no arows.....
but get a african arowana hahah.
take up good room around the middle area.

african arows are plankton/bottom feeders, like mullet, but i wouldnt trust em with small fish like barbs
