I think you should get exactly what you said. German Rams...or clown loaches they would get rid of the mystery snails for you lol...either way fun cool fish.

Unless an upgrade is planned, clowns are not the options here. Look for smaller species such as Botia almorhae.

I love loaches. I do, but I worry about them bothering my shrimp. He has nothing to defend himself with.

Oh, I didn't look to see what size tank he had. He could go with some skunk botia...just as an afterthought. The rams would be nice.

So, a 46G is filtered by a sponge filter? If thats it I wouldnt add any more fish.
