why not african cihlids? they r kinda aggressive but not towards pleco. they r just aggressive in nature thts all

Some people just don't like Africans, and this is the CA/SA section.

Had Africans before.
If I get them again, they'll go in my 55 that held Africans before.
Thank you for the suggestion, but I posted in CA/SA because I want to do a CA/SA tank....
You might see me in the African cichlid section later this year though.

Just wondering though, would a True parrot be alright in 55G, or would 18'' width be better?
Just wondering cause I was thinking of getting a cheap 55G of craigslist and getting a bunch of smaller polypterus species and IMO a True parrot would look awesome with the polys.
I'd for the 18" wide for sure. 12"(? or are they 10") fish in a 15" wide tank is a little cramped.
