I've a spider kelberi and a surinamensis. The peacock Bass is 7" and the Geo is about 4". Got around 75 gallon tank. Right now I've not kept them together, the bass is in the 75 gallon and the Geo is in the 30 gallon, is it a good idea to put them together in the 75 gallon?

Is it a short term situation keeping them together? Might be ok for few weeks, but both tanks are way too small for those fish

Want to remove the 30 gallon tank and upgrade the 75 gallon, so I'm pretty much hoping to keep them together for a long time

It’s risky even in a big tank since the peacock bass gets so much bigger, the peacock is also gonna grow much quicker, so you could be looking at a 16” peacock with a 6 or 7” geo. That geo could be lunch

I agree with this. the 75 is already too small for the Cichla alone, if it were me, I'd be upgrading now to a 180 gal (preferably larger).
