You may find them in many canals and lakes in the Miami Area. The canal by Dadeland North Metrorail station is often loaded with PB in the Summer months.

The papa PB went nuts when it saw my favorite lure This was released and went right back at protecting the family nest.

The previous pair was tending to their eggs on a small rock on the bottom of the lake.

This PB likes tree branches. The male showed up after I took the picture.
