Right now I have 3 baby peacock bass in a 60 gallon aquarium. Two of them are about 3" and the smaller one is about 2". They have plenty of space in this tank at their present size but I'm wondering how long before I need to upsize to a larger aquarium? I've already noticed some growth in the month I've had them and can't wait to get at least a 150 gal.
Thanks you for the post.

i have had my ocells for 2-3months i got them at around 1-1.5inches now they are around 4-5inches. when i had my orinos i got them at 1-1.5inch and in a years time they were 8-9inches and same for the monos but i got them at around 2inches and had them for the a little less amount of time and they were 10-13inches. it all depends on what you feed them and how much and how many times a day you feed them. they were in my 210 but first were in a 29gallon when they were small for quite some time.

I ususally feed mine once. Sometimes twice a day a diet consisting of guppies/rosies and mostly lives worms. I've tried pellets but they just look at them. I got one of them to mouth a pellet once but he just spit it out.

i was lucky enuff to get mine at this size, and it LOVES Massivore Delight! Also loves the thrill of the hunt for comets and rosy reds! lol. Only down side was the fact that it has a rather cloudy left eye but I'm trying out some Melafix to see if it helps. Any thoughts? Sorry for the thread jack, just curious...

depends on species but these will grow pretty fast, if you want faster gfrowth turn up temp and power feed

I think they would grow faster if you get them on pellets. I had several cichlas on pellets vs one on live feeders. The one on pellets grew a lot more than the one on feeder. I was finally able to ween him off feeders and on pellets. Now he's starting to pick up his growth.
