Peacock Bass growth rate?

but cichlids and gars dont make good combos.

I tried 2 pbass with 2 gars and the pbass became so aggressive at feeding time the gars actually starved.

gars are by no means aggressive feeders compared to many other fish.
in fact,aggressive and active feeders can actually spook the gars to the point that they kill themselves by staring or crashing into the walls of the tank...

hmm...maybe i should of said it like this:
gars a aggressive feeders,but not when it comes to competition.
if any other fish is a better feeder,the gar usually just waits its turn.
and i can tell ya,with pbass there will be no "turn".

but no, the only fish it lets take what it's going after is the jardini and the AT is super fast and piggy, lol. it competes for food pretty well, but I wouldn't want p-bass with it.
