I thought 1 and 2 were tems.. Idk what 3 and 4 are i say hybrid tem/occ

Those are all just your basic Florida hybrids (mostly occel with a bit of mono and potentially tem mixed in). In addition to having spots, tems have a more elongated body shape, especially at the size of your fish. Also tems have a very prominent marking behind their eye, regardless of the color phase.

I kept mine in the same tank (and with other fish). You just want to make sure that any of the smaller fish can't fit in their mouths. As for agression toward other fish, I didn't have any problems. I don't think they are really agressive anyway (as long as they aren't paired up).

Lol yea it is a mystery.. So you wouldnt worry about any parasites or deseases ? you just threw them in ?

I'll post some pics of real tems...like cee said they are just your reg fl hybrids..."MAYBE hybrids with some tems..."

definitely not real tems...tems are more brownish in tint and the red on the tail is deeper...body is also alot more elongated...:)

here's an old pic of my old tank with 9-12" tems...notice the almost solid black strip across the body of a juv. tem...there you see orinos and monos too...

tems were suppose to had been released with the monos and occel when pbass were introduced but from reports the tems could not deal with the so call "winter" of florida but who's to say that they didnt hybrid way back when.

hope these pics help...when i get a chance i'll take new ones on my tems :)
