Great thread Mike. Ive been trying to get my bass on pellets forever now. It seems pointless all Im doing is dirtying the water. I have them eating market shrimp now with Massivore stuffed in the middle.

I would really like to get them on NLS, seems alot healthier but they hate it. They will eat the shrimp and spit out every pellet, no idea how they find every one of them but it happens. But if I use Massivore they swallow it 90% of the time. Just sucks because I bought a bunch of NLS hoping theyd take it.

Hikari is hard to beat. My fish love massivore. It is almost as bad as an addiction to them. I wish they would either A: Just start eating something different or B: Hikari lowers the price of Massivore lol. But thats not going to happen so I will just keep working on A.

Just a question has anyone tried silversides? I'm not comfortable using feeders and I've had success with frozen bloodworms. Just wondering if anyone has gotten Peacocks or Jack Dempseys to eat them.

I tend to use floating carnisticks mainly cos I like to see them smash the surface.
But also occasionally feed sinking pellet, live fish ( if bred myself ),shrimp, worms/ insects.
cut frozen fish sections ( various),muscle+ prawns.

I rarely show my fish to house guests but when I do I'll toss some floating pellets or sticks into the tank in order to give them a bit of a show.....not knowing what to expect, some people have actually been startled by all of the splashing.

Tried some pieces in my azul grow out and they liked them. They don't like pellets yet.
