For sure. Big bass are few and far between. I'm about to just buy a group of babies and load them full if live food to get them big as fast as possible.
COOL MBU has a few larger ones he is looking to sell. They are 14-15" each other - orino, bahia and broko. He is on the east side of Michigan though so it would be a bit of hike for you to go get them.
