dont get me wrong bro i love snake heads i always wanted one but i wouldn't keep them with my other fish. but i would keep them in a tank by them self just to be on the safe side IMO.
I agree with you fully mate, but there are the few mid sized channa which work well in community tanks....mid sized channa seem to prefer the open water which works well.....As to dwarfs the iam in 100% agreement, its just i wanted to see just how bad these so called dwarfs really are, its an exsperiment with myself, and because i had nowhere else to stick these guys i thought take the risk, the redtail blue botia was given to me from my friend at lfs...he could not sell it,anywhere he put placed him it would attack there fish,so he had no choice, so i said i will teach him, lol he loves it in there with them, theyve never touched him except once when i watched him go for them,like putting a violin player in with a pack of football players and yanking at the jock strap...i laughed when it scurried off..
i agree with southcoast about the emperor snakehead . very very mild aggression. i have one in my 180 at my work..so peaceful. but when hungry watch out!
