I have a what I believe to be female, Temensis bass and male Kelberi bass. What type of behaviors did you experience during their spawning process? I've noticed both of them guarding a driftwood fort, They both stay extremely dark in color, the Temensis stays darkest at the top of the body. They aren't really being "aggressive" towards anyone they allow other tank mates to swim through them but if they get too close to their "zone" they will just kind of nudge at first then be an ******* and chase others. Maybe dominance??
