As Scott S. said, Blue spoys can be hard to care for. And just like everyone else one here they are SW rays.
They are not illegal. Average cost of them are around 125.00 to 150.00 in my area. I can get them thru my supplier for less of course.
But again, they are hard to keep and not for the unexperienced. Very beautiful.
Sucks the LFS didnt know what he was doing but Im not surprised.. Seems there are alot of them out there like that.

if it was a florida atlantic stingray acclimated to freshwater those too aren't illegal in florida.. probably what it was. if it's a motoro or tea cup i'm going to clearwater tomorrow!
