From my limited experience with PBs, they will do fine with the lesser agressive cichlids. Oscars, severums and some others are OK as long as they are too big for the PBass to eat. Dovii, flowerhorns, red devils, buttikoreri and many of the other real meanies will potentially beat up on the PBass unless it is a huge tank with enough hiding spaces.
Its always a crap shoot with cichlids though, what works for one person may not work for another.
