Hi guys, any idea how long i can starve pbass for? Trying to have it eat pellets and shrimp...i have 2 (9inch&10inch). Its been 5 days and still not hitting pellets or shrimp.

I am sort of new to the mfk but my advice would be to try to throw a shrimp hard against that water and see what happens. Also Ive heard you can lightly tie a piece of string to the shrimp and sort of dangle it so it looks like a fish. Again I'm new.

I threw silver sides and shrimp hard as heck in the water and nothing. Im thinking they will eventually eat if they are hungry enough...its been 5 days

I just dont know how long i can starve them for? I threw in superworms and nothing. They are only eating feeders

You’d be surprised how long they can go without food. Eventually he will eat, just keep up with it.

Tbh all depends on the bass. I’ve had one pbass that starved himself to death for 2 months. I would try to get it to eat shrimp 1st and add pellets with the shrimps later.. You’ll need to have a lot of patient and it’s going to be frustrating.

I have had this problem before. I have also read just to feed them feeders and once they know that every time they see you it means food. then after about a week I would alternate between feeders and shrimp. Throw one feeder than throw one shrimp.

It starved itself to death?
