If you have only had them 2 days, it's nothing to worry about. They need a minimum 1 week to get settled.

I would say like i said early. They first have to associate you with food. I would feed feeders for about a week, then after the week or two period I would feed a feeder then feed a shrimp. i think this method is really effective but again I'm new

Yes it did! It was only 5-6” and he was so skinny! Had it up for free in the marketplace but it didn’t make it.

You said it wasn't taking pellets or shrimp for 5 days, what was it eating before then if you had it for 2 weeks?

I have I did this with my old peacock bass that died. They were only on feeders but i was able to get them to eat shrimp with this method

as you saw i was having the "new tank syndrome" las time I had peacock bass i new nothing yet the tank seemed to cycle even though i didn't test water or do water changes
