Nice tank, do you know how you are going to aquascape it? Could do something really cool with that tank.

Ok put another coat of paint on the back of the tank, did a little more to stand and cleaned out the overflow covers.
Davo I will be aquascaping this tank with some diy feather stone caves I make for my self and my lfs I will attach some images so you can see what I am talking about .Also some fake plants in the mix or might try some real ones .I want the whole back and up 2/3 of the tank to be caves . The pics are from my 75 that is currently for sale .I also have a diy thread on how to make these in another forum if anyone is interested.

woooooooooooooooooow awesome just beautiful and natural .. your fish are going to love this...:D

wow that will look fantastic. I can just imagine those rocks under some v. slightly blue tinted lights. I'll keep an eye on this project, looks nice. What substrate you using. I've always wanted to do a nice african tank with some good rockwork as a showtank.

Thanks guys , I am torn between using sand and using a mix of crushed coral and brown gravel:irked: I am kind of leaning toward the crushed coral/brown or natural color gravel due to the buffering capacity of the agronite ( and I already have 2 15lb bags of it and 2 25lb bags of the gravel).Off to lowe's to get more supplys be back in a few:headbang2

I was looking at the featherstone for a new tank that I was setting up and passed on it after working with it. That is some very sharp rock. One landscaping place told me that they stopped stocking because of so employee/customer injuries. As cool as it looks, I would be concerned with the fish who are fighting for territory in the "razor rock" (as one landscaper called it)

Not trying to hijack this thread, but has any one experience using this rock, good or bad?

As long as you go over it with 80 grit sand paper after you are finished carving it .It will smooth out and be fine but I do reccomend using gloves and goggles when working with it
