I like it with the moon lights as long as it is in a room no one is sleeping im .You can also add them to a current light for very little$$ all you need is led ( radioshack) and a 12 v power converter 8$ at wal mart and some wire and solder presto instant lunar lights.

I was in the middle of taking some pics and my camera went dead so I will try again tomorrow.UPdate went to my lfs to see what they had and they are having 25% off all livestock sale so I picked up a rubescens, a very small scianeo ahli, and a fusco.I also got drum roll please...........................5 multipunctatus.they are the size of a guppy but could not pass them up for 5 bucks each. I put the rubescens and fusco in the main tank and my lemon jake flipped out trying to kill the rubescens .then my kadango tried to break them up and couldent the rubescent was constantly following the jake around and the jake was having none of it . Finnaly my intermedious ( new boss of the tank ) had had enough and put both of them and a few others ( marlei island, flavescent, and protomelas) in their place no one messed with the fusco it was like he wasent even their? Need less to say a good feeding of nls and everyone forgot the drama and setteled down. The ahli and synos are in the 29 gal fuge till they get big enough to go in to the main tank.

wow you better charge up that camera..

Thanks it is still like a dream come true I would have never thought I would have somthing like this and I am very greatful to have it and a very understanding wife.I understand you and I share that greatfulness.

5 multipunctatus those are the ~6 inchers when full grown right? Any clue on how fast they grow?

Were you feeding, or do they naturally like to go to the top like that? Mine I tend to have 2-3 top dwellers and most everyone else doesn't like it up there.

So have you been using flash when you take pictures? I know it is harder with glare, but I find I get much better pictures with it. (Of course cameras are different so who knows.)

But yah looking quite good.

And is the intermedius on the bottom right? If so he is looking really really good.

multi's are the 6 iners I think they are pretty slow growers but we'ill see. whenever I come in to the room they go to the top to beg for food and follow me around the tank. But mostly they swim all over the tank top to bottom sode to side. I have not been using flash it puts a huge glare spot in the middle of the pic. inter medious is on the bottom right lookin like a rock star will try to get a close up of him tomorrow he is really shaping up to be a awesome fish I am soo glad eric talked me in to this fish .Probibly one of my favs to date.
