I am setting up this monster 285 gallon tank, and I am trying to make it an ideal peacock environment.
The tank is 8' length x 28" height x 24" deep. I calculated it to be 285 gallons. I have a Fluval FX5 and am letting the system run and hopefully be able to put some specimens in it within the next couple of weeks.
What is a good heating element without busting my wallet? I am an avid angler and I love the idea of being able to observe these creatures from the comfort of my own home!
Any suggestions on making this setup as close to their natural habitat as possible would be greatly appreciated!
