peacocks finicky eaters

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i used aquasafe (the person i bought my tank from gave it to me) or sometimes prime id put a good amount in a bucket and then fill it up with water, that way the agitation would dechlor the water faster. Ive done two water changes lately a 25% which caused them to move around only half of the tank and a 10% because i was removing poop which caused a majority to float around together they arent tightly huddle in, theyre all mid tank swimming around each other like there is a divider or something and will only take up a small portion of the tank they acted normal but seemed too afraid to move to the other side of the tank they will move to the right until they reach the middle and move back to the left (ive hid behind a wall to see if it was me they were scared of but still the same. Only 3 of them dare venture out on the right side

i think ill leave them be for a week and let them go at it. Its pretty peaceful in there except that i only have 2 fishes that are 6+ and one of them just stays behind filter intake.

Thats sort of the huddle that ive been having. They only stay in this area except for 3 other fishes. They like to group around my biggest fish for some reason

i never heard of any africans turning off or snubbing food.. so i hope it is just that piticuliar food... mine practically fly out of the tank when they see me coming with their food... they act like they never eat...:Dnice tank and set up.. cannot understand why..

THANKS EVERYBODY 90% are eating and swallowing NLS but now they avoid the right side of the tank for some reason. Well most werent eating for 2-4 weeks but theyve snapped out of the starving thing and go crazy now. Theres still some scuffles here and there but they seem happier ive just fed them the NLS most everybody swallowed it and were searching the other side of the tank for food but theyre all back to the left side

Lol mine do the same. I get splashed quite often.

never try anything from youtube, i saw a guy throw a cube of frozen bloodworms and his fish were tearing it apart. I decided to do the same the first 30 seconds were the same until my 6-7" peacock came and swallowed the whole frozen cube.:WHOA:
