thanks all, glad to know what he is, and he's getting plenty of TLC, currently is on the mend after a run-in with one of my smaller oscars (13'')
got him in a 6x18''x18'' with a 15'' veil finn O, their getting along alright except when they brush against oneanother. but its not serious.

that's a good sized nic and you are in for a treat if you can get him to color up. Best advice would be to feed as much variety as possible live and prepared.

he's on live meal worms, hikari cichlid gold, and has taken a liking to hikari algae wafers.
