ıf ıts a male and ıts the bıggest then ıt wıll be mean regardless because ıt owns the tank.
the lfs near me had a breedıng paır ın the dısplay tank about 17" long, very bıg ımpressıve fısh
 
i've seen them kept with other pearsi's,bocourti's,tinfoils,cats and rays but prob all grew up together and the larger the tank the less any aggression,you may have difficulty keeping him with others due to the size/age of him now
 
thanks guys,he will be in a 125 gallon with just red hook silverdollars from now on,very stubborn fish likes everything his way,the plants,rocks,return from filters,he even pulls the tubing from my air stones(thats funny to watch)gmfishnut what did he eat besides lettuce and pellets,cant get him to eat peas or certain pellets,only pellets he will touch is hikari gold and he eats lettuce sometimes.
 
He is very nice! I love Pearsei. I think a 125 with just Redhooks and a big Pearsei is a great stocklist.
 
i agree he looks great by himself and is very active(gives the sd's hell all day)the only problem i had was he killed my 10 inch oscar the second night other than that great fish
 
lesson learned should have not tried to put the oscar back in after reaaranging the tank(guess that doent always work)
 
Strange that you're Pearsei is soo aggressive. My guy is calm. Its actually funny cause he could have a war going on right next to him and hed just move over ever so slightly to be just out of the way. His numer 1 objective is food! LOL

Congrats on the new guy! He looks sweet. Great color too!
 
Maybe once he settles in he may be different if not he wil spend his days by himself
