Big jerk. He'll be going into the bichir tank in a couple of days as im going to use the 150 to grow out some cats along with the pair of hets. Hoping to upgrade the 150 by summers end
Aggression wise hes totally fine with them. Feeding anything other than tilapia is the issue. Bichirs are real slow eaters so pellets and worms get gobbled up.by the green menace quickly. I love the fish but im really getting tired of all the b.s this will absolutely be my last large cichlid.
The cats im growing out for the most part are aggressive eaters minus the jaguars and juruense so im hoping he'll do better with them down the road

Love the way big adult fish sulk like babies. Glad he has settled back down.
COTA currently doesn't have them, but i noticed that they do have hoplarchus psittacus, which I find odd, as I believe it's a rarer fish.
