So I was just trolling around the other day and starting reading a post with this guys sweet looking Dovii. His pics were kinda weird though and the water looked like pee pee water. Lol...I can't even say it without laughing...anyway. I was wondering if anyone else had any other pics of their fish in pee pee water? Load em up!

New setup? New drift wood? Should've cleared up after a few weeks. Try using carbon media to keep water clear, if cloudy water doesn't bother you, than no worries.

its been set up for over a year..some of the logs are newer, but my fish enjoy the dark water ...not cloudy its just tannin in the water
here this is a few shots i just snapped...doing water changes here in a bit. I like the look of it and add new logs every once and a while to keep the tank looking that way.

Well if your an active fk, then you watch your fish, if you know and understand their behavior and gestures then you can tell after how they adjust to anything. My fish are rbp and they naturally live in dirty, muddy Bw, thus genetically they don't prefer bright lite, maintaining my Bw helps maintain their calmness and they are more comfortable. I think as fk we all owe if to our fish to Atleast replicate the conditions they are from as best we can, yes if their captive bred they don't know any better but their still animals. Any little thing that can be done to ensure similiar conditions is important imo. Keeping them in aquariums is hard enough on them. We could keep our water clear, but its not the color, its the quality of your water that counts.
