Peeling Severums!?! (see photo)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
So, I was able to talk the manager into swapping 2 of the severums for a sail fin pleco. Now I can work on fattening these two.up while I devise a plan to get the third and last of these severums.
Now, the question remains: have I taken on a rescue mission or have I stumbled upon a unique group of fish. I guess time will tell.
Pics of them in their new home are on the way....

I apologize for the grainy pics. I wish I had a proper camera at my disposal.

Anyone else with input/ opinions about these? I'd love to hear it cause as of now I got nothing....

Ok, so I've got all three now and they seem to be doing fine. Not knowing what they are is driving me crazy but I find these guys no less interesting or attractive than any other sev I own and I'm pleased with them.
A couple of members on a other board believe these to be a strain of rotkeil that have no bars. I've never kept rots before so I can't say one way or another. Any thoughs?
