hey guys, other than my RTC, Peewee is my favorite fish in my tank he is a fun little guy. He will only eat redworms, nightcrawlers, rosies and goldfish. but i was wondering if it is possible to get him to eat pellets of some kind. The oscars devour the cichlid pellets and peewee doesnt go near them any suggestions. and heres some videos of peewee and the guys in the old tank.

I would feed him Freeze dried shrimp, or crickets (anything to get him eating off the top water)

then you need 2 starve him for 2-3 days

soak the pellets for a few min so they are soft, trust me the green will cave in. they can go 2 weeks with out food, he will eventually eat the pellets

if you can put a larger fish in with him that eats pellets he will learn faster.

nice, i've got one in my (former) coldwater community tank, i say former because he has eaten 6 of 6 small danios i put in with it, i believe all the ghost shrimp, and 4 of 6 white clouds and he's only a little over 2 1/4" long, fat little bastard but i like him. all of mine(11, 10 in QT, 1 in display) started eating prepared foods within about 2~3weeks, just kept throwing in my standard live black worms and then threw in some freeze dried blood worms and then started mxing in pellets and flake and now they'll eat it all.

Cool man, greenies are the bomb. My buddy peepa has a breeding pair that I rescued from a feeder tank when they were less than an inch each. Now the male is pushin 7'' and looks badass!!!

My Greens always accepted any offering, I would quit offering the meaty treats for a while. He'll catch on.

he continued to chance the pumpkinseed until i finally took him out. peewee likes all the oscars and is ok with the new TSN but he hates any coldwater fish that i put in the tank, he has already killed 2 red ear sunfish. so i think im done trying to any new fish in
