pellet question

Goldies are vegetarians, polys are predators, get some cichlid pellets or something else meaty. My approximately 3-1/2 inch senegal eats HBH SuperSoft 3mm pellets(Krill formula for predators) He can and will eat New Life Spectrum 3mm, but they're hard, and noticeably harder for him to get down.

My Sens love food from kensfish.com. Specifically his Premium Slow Sinking Growth Pellets, and his Premium Sinking Pellets w/ Brine Shrimp. I use the 2mm size for the growth pellets, and my three 3-4" bichirs are all for them. I usually break the other pellets in half.

They'll eat until I stop putting food in, so I know they actually like it and aren't just eating it because they need food.

I'm sure, if you don't want to order online, any kind of shrimp pellet or cichlid pellet you can find will work.Like someone mentioned, goldfish need a high amount of vegetables in their diet, and those goldfish pellets are probably meant to suit that need, Bichirs are carnivores, and need meaty food whether it be certain pellets or silversides, beefheart etc...

. Good luck.:)
