Blood worms are an excellent fist food for baby aros, once the conversion to pellets is made the Blood worms can be phased out.
As hundreds of silver arowana owners can post witness to, floating pellets will do nothing to prevent silver arowana from getting DE.

Recently read a post on another forum with some pretty factual stuff about aro's eyes and the muscle that they use to keep looking up etc. And when placed in a tank they use that muscle less and less therefore getting DE. Not sure if that is 100% fact but some say putting aro in FGT (FGT right?) or having objects such as pingpong balls or feeding only above surface will greatly reduce the chance of aro getting DE~
I do know that it may not work or may not even be true... But I'd like to think that it is true and will try those methods just incase it is true
