Hi guys,

I have a 3 inch azul and kelberi and im thinking of getting them on pellets. I bought the floating mini cichlid bio gold plus pellets for them and i didnt even bother about them. Wondering if pbass actually eat floating pellets? Or should I get the sinking one instead? Thanks for the advice! And apparently my azul keeps chasing my kelberi around and scaring it. Was told to get more pbass to make them not fight but i cant afford space for more. any advice on this too?

thanks in adv!!!

Try feeding Hikari lionhead sinking pellets. Work very well for me whenever I wanna pellet train any of my fishes. I have successfully trained rays, bichers, any catfish I keep and also any cichlid.

Any luck with sinking cichlid bio gold? And do u soak the lionhead pellets or jus give them straight? There wont be any problem with giving pbass lionhead stuff right cos the ingredients are similar? Haha thanks man

I tried cichlid bio gold sinking but they prefer the lionhead one instead. The protein level is pretty high for this lionhead sinking pellet. So far no issue.

I've used Hikari Carni sticks and carnivore pellets. Both worked good for training.

my carni sticks wont work cos they wont swim up to the surface - theres an aro and gar there. i broke my carni pellets to small pieces and my kelb will ignore it but my azul will take it into his mouth and spit it out
