You can try the Hikari food sticks- they didn't work for me but you might get lucky. I am just as frustrated as you right now. I've been stuffing prawns for over a month. I even decided I'd try the Hikari just because I wanted it to eat pellets and once it'll eat one pellet its easy to convert to your brand of choice but that was a failed experiment. Mine wouldn't even mouth the Hikari when fed exclusively for 4 days.

I hear ya! Mine will eat one or two NLS pellets if it hasn't been fed for a weekend, but will then turn it's nose at the pellets and wait for me to cave in. I figured since it readily eats FD Krill then it would be easy to get it pellet feeding.

I tried starving my rtg for about 6 weeks by just feeding most of the pellets mentioned above and he didnt eat one!
He goes for them when i feed him worms then throw a bunch of pellets in but he always spits them out,i even tried putting them in prawns but he refused to eat the prawn,so i started feeding his worms on the aro sticks and the small massivore ones but then he wouldnt eat the damn worms,so ive given up,but hope you have better luck

Cheers steve

My jardini and silver both go nuts over azoo arowana sticks. I'll put hikari in the tank and they'll eat it, but they attack the azoo pellets. They know what that big red bottle is as soon as I pick it up.

Where do you buy Azoo at?

my silver has eaten hikari food sticks since day 1, got him at 6 inches in the end of september, and now his 15 inches long, he also gets krill, cichlid gold, omega one veggie pellets(it likes them for some reason), and sanyu asian aro food.

New Life Spectrum, with it my silver will take it in, then spit it out......

Hikari, gobbles that ish right down.

cheapy cichlid sticks and pellets from walmart.......takes it, not as aggresive as the hikari, but wont spit it....

tried tilapia filet for the first time tonight........almost looked like a crack-head coming back for more.

if ure other fish are eating pellets...it wont be long before ure arowana will start eating them too (if u dont give any more prepared food to her). i feed my arowanas hikari GOLD pellets (medium sized) because it saves a lot of money compared to the hikari sticks and they do a great job as well!

She has been with these fish for nearly 2 years and not feeding her is not an option without starving the rest of the tank. I am just looking for a pellet that is easily accepted by most peoples Arowanas.

I'll try a few of the pellets mentioned above and see what gives.
