Hello,

I was wondering if i can use my leftover cichlid pellets to feed my RBPs?
i have the very small pellets and the medium.

I would hate to throw them out... allready payed for them

Welcome to MFK to the other members that responded to your questions, i've not seen them around.

Yes you can feed them cichlid pellets. Mine eat them regularly with the other stuff mixed in here and there. There's no gurantee they'll eat them though. Some won't like rising to the top to eat them, others just are picky eaters. Good luck
 
it really depends on the piranha. They are definatly good for them as cichlids and piranhas have similar diets in the wild. my piranhas really like hikari Massivore sinking pellets but also eat Hikari floating carnivore pellets

I use those 2 also
 
if they don't eat them like that then stuff the pellets into fish fillet or shrimp and give that to them.
