My festae and rainbow cichlid will only eat pellets that sink. Tried all the Hikari brand pellets that float, they won't touch them. They only pellets they tear into are Hikari cichlid complete, they sink. Any other good sinking pellets out there? I heard of kens pellets and looked at the site but I don't know if they are quality pellets. Also they tear up Omega one kelp flakes. This makes me happy that they'll get their veggies!

Hakiari Sinkin Carnivore Pellets.....they are like little round disks that expand after a bit...made for Carnivorus Catfish and the like. I feed it to my cichlids, soak it first so its fully expanded though. Great high protein diet, great growth. My festea, black belt, RD, Parrots, Chocolates and Festivum all love them. Feed in moderation though, lol...cuz they are high in protein.....ya get me?

starve your fish for a week or three, eventually they will break down and eat whatever you damn well feel like giving them. works like a charm
