Actually I know exactly what causes the cloudy water. Its when I pull the filter pad up and out, all the loose stuff falls out and clouds the water. When I rinse it out it doesnt get a little bit, it get a lot out. I cant rinse it in fish water because then it wouldnt get rid of enough crap. And I rinse it out every couple of days.
What about Cascade HOBs? They seem alright
