Penn-Plax Cascade canister filters...

...has anyone ever used them? I am going to be getting my 125g soon and I am looking at canister filters. I will also have 2 AC110s on there as well. I know people will say to build a W/D but I am not that ambitious. I want to add a canister, but I do not want to spend $300+ on it. I noticed these filters, and the price seems right. i sell penn plax products and never had a complaint on these.but again you could just buy the biggest canister they make and just use that instead of running 3 diff filters.save in pg&e(electric bill)

I have the cascade 1000 running on my 100 and it works great, I have alot of fish so i added a FX5 to the mix and love it.... You'll have to go with the Cascade 1200 at minimum though, because the 1000 is only rated for UP TO a 100... But i do have to say for the price go check out Johnptc and pick up a FX5 for $175.00 + shipping... It had triple the flow as all the Cascades...John's a Great guy and won't do ya wrong...

Yep thats new in box... plus shipping of course. I picked a couple of them up from him. He's a great guy and an asset to MFK.

For the price it's a great filter!

I have the 1200 and it has been running without any problems for 6 months.
Only thing is the noise, they are not as quiet as an Eheim..but if you put it in a cabinet, then you can hardly hear it.
