Penny Patterson Met KoKo The gorilla...... amazing

i think Penny is a little nuts. she had been spending too much time with that gorilla.
also, the gorilla does not say anything interesting, other than basic communication.

I think I agree she is a little nuts.. but that's what makes it amazing.. and communication level had various stages.. so I would have to see a film over the 43 year span of KoKo's life to be able to tell how she improved or how limited she was.. but just normal understanding is an accomplishment.

I disagree. I believe Coco communicates, but only on a basic level. it does not really constitute language. A regular dog also understands and communicates with people as well (it just does not have fingers to make signs).

it would be interesting to see if Coco could understand past and future plus if and than type of sentences. from what i've seen, she does not

well regardless on the degree of communication they showed emotional attachment that was deep with genuine affection.
 
Liz should just have her own wild animals/nature thread for all her random vids and stories. Itd be like camshaft ramrods shennigan thread and facebook page but for nature folks
