i like getting em small cause they are cheaper and i like to grow them out, less aggression issues. but sometimes you cant help but get em while they are big esp if they are rare in your area

Never noticed a trend. I've been keeping polys for nearly 40 years.

I like to buy em big. Nothing like the instant satisfaction of having a monster poly in your tank.
