How about americans? Weren't they responsible for the destruction of the NEW WORLD? I mean, you got those horses there(and you owe them alot) and you want to massacre them? How about the Indians, didn't they want to massacre american invaders too(before)?

Are we not humans with large brains, brains that should not be destructive? I know there is always an alternative. There is always a better way..

Killing these precious beings just because of your own faults. You should be ashamed. Americans were invasive species too but they were gradually accepted.

im not saying to slaughter workhorses, or riding horses, or pet horses. i dont want to take some little girls pony and slaughter it. im talking about a non-native destructive animal. have you ever been close to a true wild horse? have you ever seen the parasites that live in and on them? have you ever tried to treat a wild horse for a disease that will kill it, but not been able to because it wont let you get close enough? they are not "serving a purpose" other than to destroy the habitat for the native animals

i can see where your coming from, honestly, but it can be done and a huge amount of horses is unfair. its the fact thats its also not done humanely. they can see each other being killed and know its coming to them next

because of the love that, that horse will give u. i did it and unfortunatly i had to give the horse away coz i was pregnant. and that horse was (sad to say) my best friend. u build a bond and the feel of being rewarded that horse gives u just from being healthy and trotting over the field to u even if u havnt got food makes it all worth while

no im sure ur right with the 1st para, although it is more than likey the same as over here and the wild horses that live on the downs (where i live) and stop traffic everyday, and wreck the local farmers plots occasionally

not def true, how do you know that all of us on here have never left the comfort of our own homes?
im 21 and only in the last 3 years since i have had my little girl have i not been out in fields, studying my local wildlife and finding ways to help it. as soon as my lil ones old enough then i will be taking her out and teaching her.
