People that wear contacts

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i always make sure that my finger is dry that i put the contact on because i have the super soft lenses and they wont flip over my finger if its dry. and i look directly at the contact when i put them in if i look away i blink. then when its on my eye i move it around a little with my fingertip to push any air bubbles out, cause other wise when i blink i push the lense out. i got mine just a couple of months ago, and all i can say is it gets easy with practice. when i started it used to take me up to an hour to get them in, you just need to find out what works for you.

Well I finally got them in tonight with the help of my wife. Took about 10 minutes. The package says to replace them every two weeks. How long do you guys usually leave them in? Is is safe to sleep with them?

Thefirst dayleave themin for a couplehours..Your eyes will gettired... Take them out and cleanthem.. store over nightin solution andthen put them in tomorrow for a couple more hours.. I leave mine in now up to 12 hours ... But I work in a dusty warehouse so ...

IF you sleep in them and they are not leave ins then you will likely lose one or both..It is also very uncomfortable when you wake up. Check with the eye doctor that perscribed tham and he will tell you the answers to all these questions..

DUDE!!!!

i wake up after a nap and go WTF! :irked:

I'm gonna call the doc tomorrow and ask them a bunch of questions. Figured he's my doc. He's the one I aught to be asking.

btw - I was just rubbing my eyes and one fell out:nilly:
Luckily it only took about 2 minutes to put back in

WOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT SLEEP IN THEM UNLESS THE ARE FOR OVER NIGHT SLEEPING!!!!!!!!!

If you sleep in them, and your eyes dry out, they will stick to your eyes and then you will have to probably go to the eye doctor, or even the hospital to get them removed. I slept in them once and all that happened was my eyes were wicked soar the next day, but I had a friend in which they dried out on his eye and he had to go to the hospital to get them out.
