Pepper is now a solid 9" with tail. He is enjoying fresh fish over shrimp but eating both.

pepper is growing so fast!. i just realized that i got monte a 3" alittle over a week after u got pepper and monte is only at 4.5"... i think is might be because when i first got him i got two cuz my parents decided to get me an extra one but my tank whent through an amonia spike with the extra ammonia. so he was the only survivor.... and i think he suffered alittle bit from that by i am seeing tremendous growth from him. and no gill curl. rtc sure are tough fish

Got nervous and thought Pepper ate his thermometer when I saw only the suction cup left...

Nevermind it's floating on the top side of the tank ... WHEW. LOL
