They look really good! Female has made an almost complete recovery, honestly, Im surprised!

one more thing, how do you keep your Festae so un-obese :grinno: mine are little pigs!

Thanks I'm surprised that she healed up and got so dang colorful. My female isn't a pig but the male eats like a horse. I'm surprised he isn't fatter than he is.

female healed up real nice , and no filament barbs in that tank? lol

I have three 1" Filamant barbs growing out in a 20g. I can't wait until they get bigger.

very nice festae couple, do you have them with the dovii??

Thanks. They're not with the Dovii, they have their own 156g (5' x 2' x 25") tank.

They better not breed soon. I don't have room for fry yet. :(

Room or no room they had better breed soon. :D

Looks like your gonna have fry soon! the one F's lit up like a xmas tree and smakin' her arse in the m's face around that driftwood......can also clearly a fry nest under the driftwood.........god help the rest of those fish when the babies come.

Honestly tho i'm suprised not to see several fry pits and the ones mine make are huge
approx 12" in width and about 4-6'" deep also my dominate female will dig herself an escape pit that's to small for the male to follow her - basically a tunnel from the main pit to another rock close by, a place she can go when the male goes on a rampage.

Balton~

I appreciate the compliment, D. I worked hard to get her healed, doing a 50% water change with salt every day. A couple of times I got home after a 12 hour work day not wanting to do anything but forced myself to do that water change haha. She still has a scar there but I'm so happy with her now that I don't even pay attention to it. I think she's a beautiful girl.
