Perch...which one is better?

I would go for the chinese perch over the nile because I would have a shot at keeping it for life, the nile is a little too Monster for me at the moment!!!!
 
No kidding Big E....I base all my decisions on whether I'd be able to house the fish for its lifespan....not that I'm certain of having them that long, but taking on the responsibility of caring for it makes that an imperative imo.
 
I'd go chinese.
 
I really think the size and rallys pics and "review" of the chinese perch are what really made up my mind! You are gonna start a trend here Rally!! As soon as I get the tank I am gonna go hunting for one! Is there anyone that prefers the nile? I am sure some of you MOnster maniacs do!!!
 
I'm with them. I'd definately go for the chinese. The nile will just be too much fish to handle. I know your feeling too E, after all these pics from Ralley I've been on the lookout for one too.
 
If you get one You'll love it. Their personality is similar to an oscar, just not as territorial:)
 
the Chinese would be your best choice for a lift time keeper fish the Nile just gets a little to big. This is me with one I caught on a trip to Kenya.
