perch

I got a chinese perch at 2-3 inches. Right now he looks like hes fading and doing so good. I had him for about a 1 week now. hes tail was rotting so I added medicine, he is just swimming to his side. anyone know what to do? I think my water is fine since I did a waterchange like 2 weeks ago.

doing a water change 2 weeks ago often times may not be enough for ANY given circumstance... getting a water test should be high on your list of things to do right now and then with your water parameters we will be better able to help you!

I did the waterchange before i got the perch since there was really nothing in there. I did a 20%. Im thinking of checking the water, but i just dont have a ride rite now to get the kit.

the tank was cycled wasnt it? get something to check your parameters soon and keep a close eye on the guy...let us know what the paramaters are....maybe a picture would help too?

i had a siniperca whiteheadi that passed this morning. =/ he was doing that in my tank too. just floating side ways upside down. all over even face down like a leaf. but everytime i poked at him. he zoomed away. then today. he was just not breathing or nothing.

the tank was cycled. rite now i cant do anything since I dont have any supplies to check anything. I usually get it checked at my lfs they do it for free.
